Due to recent international policies, Turkey has become a place frequently visited by foreigners for investment or tourism purposes. In ordinary cases, when a deport decision is made for foreigners who have not been involved in any crime or administrative sanction, an administrative fine comes to the fore in case of leaving the country. If this penalty is not paid, a ban on entry to the territory of our country is given from 3 months to 3 years. Annotated visa institution is on the solution in order to remove this ban.
In addition, if foreigners who violate a visa for up to 3 months automatically leave the country without being detected by the competent authorities and pay the administrative fine at the time of departure, an entry ban decision is not made.
However, if foreigners who violate a visa for more than 3 months pay the administrative fine within the specified period, they will not be banned from entering Turkey.
What is Annotated Visa?
Annotated visa is the type of visa that the visa label receives definitions such as treatment, family reunification, work, official duty, education and tourism. Annotated visa allows Foreigners with an entry ban to enter the country legally. Foreigners can apply for a valid visa from consulates or embassies in their own countries. However, a valid reason must have during these applications. And most importantly, this valid reason must have documents.
Who Can Apply?
People who have any ailment and can be treat in Turkey can apply for a Treatment type visa. Persons whose spouse has a work permit or immovable residence in Turkey can apply for a family reunification visa. People who want to work in Turkey can apply for a work visa. Those who come to Turkey for official duty can apply for an official duty visa. People who want to study in Turkey can apply for an education visa. Finally, any person who wants to come for touristic purposes can apply for a touristic visa.
What Is Specific Annotated Visa?
Specific Annotated Visa is another definition for Annotated Visa. There is no significant difference among them.
Can Annotated Visa remove the Deport ?
The person whose visa or residence permit is canceled during his stay in Turkey is also subject to an administrative fine along with the deportation decision. While those who exit by paying this fine do not receive any entry ban, those who do not pay are sentenced to an entry ban between 3 months and 60 months.
If the departing foreigners subsequently apply for a valid and documentable visa, the legal entry ban will be cancelled. In addition, foreigners are required to pay the administrative fine resulting from the violation when they enter the country.
However, legitimate visa can not cancel all entry bans. Some entry bans require a court order in order to be cancel. However, legal action will be apply against people who issue false documents in order to obtain a valid visa.
Reuqired Documents to Get A Family Reuinion Visa
First of all, the foreigner’s passport validity period must be at least 6 months. A completely filled and signed application form is neccessary. Another issue is that 4 biometric photographs taken within the last 6 months are should be in the application. Finally, Marriage certificate/family certificate is neccessary.
Required documents for Education Visa (Student Residence)
*-Four biometric photo,
*-Student certificate,
*-Residence permit application form,
*-Original or photocopy of passport or substitute document (Some consulates require notarized approval.)
*-Valid health insurance,
*-Statement that he/she has sufficient and regular financial means during his/her stay,
*-If the foreigner is under the age of 18, the letter of consent given by his/her parents or legal representative abroad. This letter of consent must be accompanied by a letter of undertaking by real and legal persons in Turkey.
Required Documents for a Work Visa
Foreigners and employers applying for a work visa must provide certain documents in full.
Documents to be provided by the employer;
*-The company’s balance sheet and profit and loss statement for the previous year,
*-Turkish Trade Registry Gazette containing the current capital and shareholding structure of the organization,
*-Operating certificate,
*-Document proves that the company has no unpaid tax debts. (It is neccessary for application of work permit extension)
Documents to be provided by the foreigner applying;
*-Employment Contract (signed by foreigner and employer),
*-Passport Copy (Translated by a sworn translator),
*-Diploma Copy (Translated by a sworn translator),
*-Reference letter, if applicable (translated by a sworn translator),
*-Copy of Valid Residence Permit for at least 6 months,
*-Original of current work permit (for work permit extension application),
